Our mountain lodge is a convenient high altitude base at for a wide range of excursions around the Presena Glacier in summer. These diverse routes allow visitors to explore a pristine wilderness teeming with biodiversity, experience the local mountain culture, and uncover the historical traces of WWI.

At Cima Presena
Have you ever been up to three thousand metres?

It has never been easier: you can reach the mountain station in just 7 minutes with the Presena cable car.  There, a colourful 3000 sign awaits; the perfect place for a picture, perhaps followed by a celebratory toast at the nearby Panorama 3000 Glacier restaurant. Ready for more adventure? In a short walk, you can also reach the cross of Cima Presena, just above.

This iconic, fully equipped path, to cover with a special via ferrata kit, starts right from Presena and retraces the trenches and fortifications of the White War, offering glimpses into the tragic past, but also offering breath-taking views and adrenaline-pumping emotions, especially when crossing suspension bridges.

The magnificent area around Capanna Presena is part of both the Adamello and Brenta Parks. Along the more than 1000 km of perfectly signposted paths, you can appreciate the pristine silence, as well as a great variety of species of fauna and flora and fascinating geological landscapes. Every step is a new discovery!
